Although they haven't gone the way of the tape cassette yet, optical discs are being used less and less nowadays, due to USB drives and the convenience they offer. If you have created ISO images to back up the contents of your CDs and DVDs, you can use ISO to USB to write the information to a USB drive and make it easier to access. You don't need any special ISO-reading software, so if you have a USB drive ready, you can write your files right away, and you can also make a bootable Windows installation media.

ISO to USB is offered completely free of charge, and it works on all popular Windows systems. It takes only a few seconds to install the application, and there is no need to meet any special software or hardware requirements. You can run the software right away, without any distractions.

There aren't too many preparations to make when using this application. If you have a USB drive plugged into your computer, you only need to select the source ISO image, along with the destination drive, and click a button to start the operation. It may take some time to finish the process, especially with large data volumes, but the software won't ask you for any further input. Also, it won't have any significant impact on your computer's performance, so you can focus on other tasks in the meantime.

ISO to USB is capable of writing any data within ISO image files to a USB drive, without relying on any third party ISO reading software. What's more, the application can create bootable Windows installation USB drives. All you need is a free drive and an ISO image of a Windows installation disc. The preparation process is roughly the same, and it takes the same amount of time to complete, so you don't need to wait any longer or make any advanced settings if you want to make a bootable Windows installation USB drive.

Writing data from ISO images to USB drives can be the simplest thing you do, thanks to ISO to USB's straightforward functionality.

Pros

You can write data from ISO images to USB drives. The software doesn't rely on any external ISO-reading applications. It can also create bootable Windows installation drives.

Cons

There are no obvious drawbacks to mention.
